A Deep Dive into Student-Led Entrepreneurship
This project marked a comprehensive rebranding of METES (Metropolia Entrepreneurship Society), a student-led initiative at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. The challenge was clear: although METES had a strong mission to foster entrepreneurship among students, its visual identity and communication materials lacked cohesion, clarity, and impact—limiting its ability to engage and grow its community.
The solution involved a complete overhaul of the brand’s visual presence. From the ground up, I redesigned the brand identity to better reflect METES's values: innovation, inclusivity, and forward-thinking. This included a refreshed logo, a dynamic color system, and a bold yet approachable visual language that could scale across both digital and physical platforms.
To ensure consistent engagement, I developed a suite of social media templates, campaign graphics, and motion assets tailored for various platforms. Printed collateral, such as posters, event materials, and merchandise, were designed to bring the brand into real-world interactions, enhancing visibility on campus and at partner events.
This unified design system helped reposition METES as a modern, vibrant, and credible hub for student entrepreneurship—making it easier to attract new members, partners, and collaborators while giving current members a renewed sense of identity and purpose.
